Sleepy Crabby Mommy

I have been so tired lately. I don't want to wake up. I take a good couple of hours after I get to work to wake up. Then when I come home I just want to relax (but that doesn't happen). I know what you're thinking...she's pregnant. Believe me, that's not the case.

I have also been crabby. I've been a little short to my coworkers and hubby.This could be due to being tired. Sorry!

I'm just a bunch of fun.

When it comes to my little girl I give her my all, happy face and a mommy that does not stop. And I will give her more.

I'll rest up when she's 18. 

Any other mommas out there continuously playing energy catch up?

I just had a 10 minute argument with Teagan about the name of Mickey Mouse. She calls him Mickey House and thinks I'm wrong for calling him Mickey Mouse. I like that she sticks to her opinion. There was a lot of shouting and a lot of giggles. She's so stinking cute, esp when she's wrong!

Things that make you go hmm...

I had a thought.

I was driving in my city's usual blinding bright sun, regretting that my forgetful mom brain self misplaced my sunglasses. Then I thought about my previous two pairs of sunglasses that were destroyed by Teagan.

Do you know that she has two pairs of sunglasses herself? Both pairs she wears and both pairs are kid damage free. Hmm....

I'm just saying.

Here is Teagan over the weekend. She wanted a drink from the hose. Then like an independent almost two-year-old, she wanted to hold the hose herself. Or as Teagan says "I do it." She squirted herself in the face and giggled :)

New Management

I am spoiled. I have the BEST manager. I have never had a manager that strives to open so many growth opportunities for me and supports the working mom 100% as my current manager. He was more than ok with my working parent requests such as when I didn't want to travel or that I wanted to work part time.

When you have the best, others want the best. He told our team last week that he was promoted to another position.

I am bummed.

My team is bummed.

Will my new manager support the working mom too? Time shall tell.

Meet The Coworkers

Happy Quatro de Mayo! My coworkers went out to lunch today to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and invited Teagan and I along.

I looked forward to my coworkers meeting Teagan. She was a little shy. Its not often I mix my work life with my personal life. Some of my other coworkers brought their babies along too, including a gal that's on maternity leave. Her new baby is just precious! We enjoyed our lunch. I like meeting the children I hear so much about.

Yep. I missed another Cuteday Tuesday. Shocker. Sorry!

So here is a Cuteday Friday. Its a special treat. Its a video of Teagan playing "Patty Cake" and then "Row Row Row Your Boat" with her kitty. Don't mind her mommy's uncontrollable laugh. She is just too stinking cute.
