Mom Guilt

Hello Mommas!

I don't think there are any mommas (working and SAHM) out there that haven't felt some sort of guilt. Lets here it! Share your stories about what makes your conscience active. I will try to put them on this page.

You know your a momma when you feel guilty when...

  • You drop your kid(s) off at daycare and they don't want you to leave.
  • You turn down a work assignment or travel so you're not away from your children so much.
  • You drop your sick kid off at daycare because you need to get stuff done at work or you don't want to use a personal day.
  • You drop your kid off at daycare on an off day or pick them up later so you can run a few errands san kid.
  • Some days you don't want to share your free time with your children with others.
  • You workout. You could spend that time with your children - from a coworker.
  • Your kid is the last one to be picked up from daycare.
  • Your family life stops you from doing social after work hour events with customers and coworkers.
  • You work overtime.
  • You tell your employee you're pregnant.
  • You make or pass on career opportunities due to being a mother or pregnancy.
  • You place blame on yourself for your child's late development or negative behavior because you're not a full time stay at home mom.
  • Your coworkers take classes on their personal time to advance their career and you don't.
